Alright, I did forget this when I was posting the first few threads in here.

The layout of the fora on this site. Names of the fora and sections, the order, and so on. Any thoughts on it? If you have bright ideas for what fora we should and shouldn't have, how we should arrange them, and so on, put those ideas here.

Note that I'll probably put this section (Sacred ground) at the bottom of the index, and split this forum (Site discussion) off into the general section, or maybe just delete the forum itself and put the posts into the archive forum, unless I get complaints about that idea for some reason.

Current layout at the time of this posting, just so lazy people don't have to look back at the index:

Section: Sacred ground

And that's it.

I think the news and information forum should be with the others in the General section. I don't know why, I just feel it should be that way.

Well, the general section is more a "Whatever madness you can think of" section. The news and information section will probably quickly become the strictest place where all the big debates and stuff are held at if we ever get this place off the ground. It just didn't seem to fit, in my eyes.

But noted. Let's wait a while, see who else is drawn in here, and what, if anything, any of the incoming members have to say about that suggestion and this whole thing in general.

I think when the Staff Discussion and Lab become visible, they should be in their own section, seeing as there is two of a kind. Plus you could just tuck it away at the bottom of the homepage

Hmm. Possibly. The lab definitely needs to stay as hidden as possible, seeing as all the posts in there could very well become a crazy mess from staff members experimenting with their control panels and such.

But the staff discussion.... Visible, but nobody but admins, mods, and maybe CC members can post in it. I doubt any staff member should have anything to be afraid of, unless they're trying to push for actions that everyone would hate them, forever, for if they knew they were behind them.

It's not like there's anything in there right now, seeing as I'm the only staff member until we get more in, and I'm not inclined to talk to myself. (Much.) I'll make it visible to most everyone and see what (hopefully) incoming members think of that.

Having the staff discussion visible would allow regular site members to view what changes are being discussed and whatever else is happening in them
