A simple thread: anime. What are you watching, what do you plan to watch, what are your favorites, ... ? etc.

My favorite anime of all time: Death Note. Very clean in comparison to the next two, especially considering it basically revolves around genocide.

2nd favorite: Elfen Lied. If you plan to look into this: Horrible gore, nudity, outright torturous scenarios that make grown men cry, and the least of your worries is probably the occasional mention of incest between cousins.

3rd: Yosuga no Sora General NSFW, porn, and incest abound in this one.

Watched: Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, tried to watch K-On! and Lucky Star but got bored very quickly. I watched tons of other stuff on Adult Swim, but that was so long ago my memory's gotten fuzzy on it.

Planning to watch: Death Note re-watch, re-watch Haruhi and see the new season(?), and see Galaxy Angel for the first time. Also trying to find "who's-who, what's-what" stuff like Death Note and shows for extreme masochists on a scale as close to Elfen Lied as possible.

I took a break from it, but I'm going to continue Inuyasha so I can finally finish it.

Didn't the anime overtake the manga and end with no real resolution because of that? That's what I heard, and I never bothered to watch it start to finish because of that.
