| Alright, I spent the last few days prettying the site up before it went live, but it's still not the best. A few things it definitely still needs: - A name. "The Mlytorium" is just there because it was the name on the other three versions before. I doubt we'll get much fresh blood, which is the one thing we'll definitely need starting out, if everyone thinks the head admin, me, is that much of an egomaniac. Granted, it might be true, but I insist I'm a nice enough guy, and the site should still make the best first impression. "The Mlytorium" is stupid and ego-maniacal, and only there this time around because I'm terrible at thinking up good names for anything
- A banner to go with the name, natch. It could just be the one there now with the lettering replaced, but if anyone has any bright ideas they should say them.
- And a description. If you'll look up there now, you'll see this: "(Dummy site description; trying to figure out a good one.)" Much like the site's name, I'm terrible at this sort of stuff.

| When I created my forum, I had named it Alpha Factor. Perhaps something similar or something in a different tongue. As for the banner, that scares me a little bit, because I didn't have to make one, and I would be bad at it anyways. Looking at Infinity Corner, (I can't post links for 7 days), they have a laid back 'relax, browse, enjoy' as theirs |

| Using anything other than English on an English-speaking site is just pretentious, plus it'll completely destroy SEO scores, or at least according to my understanding.
It's actually possible to get on the front page of Google or some such for some rather trivial query that people would still look for occasionally even with a simple site on a host that's tiny on such scales, much like this one, pretty much guaranteeing enough fresh blood to replace any leaving members. IF the admin gets the SEO just right.
... But naming the site anything short of the most banal English-adopted foreign saying will screw that up badly, and naming it one of those aforementioned sayings will ensure the site's pushed so far back nobody will ever see it from search engines. Or in other words, what I just said but worse.
SEO is a big key to stabilizing a site like this and making sure that no matter what happens, there will be enough activity to sustain momentum.
The other two, I'd think, would be having a good image (In a word: fancy!) and having a core member-base that's simply too stubborn to leave in all but the most ridiculous circumstances. Thus all the work I did on the theme and layout before even opening the site, and the preemptive creation of the CC group, respectively. |

| Well, I had not went through the motions of doing anything search engine related, so could you explain it to me a little better? Are there keywords that can be searched and have this site as a top result, or is it just the text in the name?
If it is name based, I'd suggest trying to stick to the 500 most used words in the English language, like calling it "The (1) Sound (83) of (2) Change (181), with (the numbers) representing how common it is, 1 being the most common |

| If the name hasn't been used before in another forum, perhaps Mobius, or something related to it? |

| Whenever I look at the banner with that name, I feel like I'm on some sort of forum that deals with sexual fantasies.
I think the whole forum, itself needs to be lighter with the color scheme if we want to attract any sort of members.
And the name? I think it needs to be catchy...something simple and snappy...something one worded...
I'm trying to think of some names as I speak.

| Personally I like the theme. I made it, ... but I'll make another one if the general opinion is that there's something undesirable about this one. As everyone can quite clearly see, I'm incapable of fancy image-work. However, Nuva here has offered his services in that department
This site is now effectively nothing but host to the people of TSC now that TSC is gone, -- you know, what with the fact that there was zero activity here and the place was effectively on standby for a crisis like this. So a Sonic-themed name is in order, along with Sonic-themed tagging, descriptive text, and SEO in general. Sonic-themed ... er, theme as well, I'd suppose. Which will require a minimum of swapping out the images used for buttons, banners, thisses and thats even if it's decided there's no need to play with the CSS, background images, etc.
As for what to call it? It seems more likely by the moment that TSC isn't coming back. I noticed a secret reference that Zez would know only I would understand, and the message I think he's conveying with it is, he's done. Something in the vein of "TSC2" may be in order. Otherwise, I have no clue. |

I don't mind helping out either if it comes to it. I do dabble in the whole fancy graphic world too. |

| I was thinking "The Death Egg" if we need something really creative, then we shall name it the "Suburbs of Eggman Land". |

We need to spice it up. Not let it be bland, but not too complicated. |

| I like the theme, it's really easy on my eyes. If the colors changed, maybe go to a dark grey or a color that's dark and only mildly saturated? That's my input. |

Aye. Either way, I'm in favor of an EggmanLand theme. |
